Refund policy

At Jackson Square Collective, we want you to shop with confidence. In addition to Standard Returns, our Jackson Square Collective Buyer Guarantee ensures peace of mind if your item does not arrive, is broken during transit, or is entirely different than described. All sales are final 48 hours after delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

For items shipped via In-Home, Local Delivery, or Parcel:

  • You have 48 hours after delivery to inspect your item.
    • You must contact us within this 48-hour window to be eligible for a return. After this period, all sales are final.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, email info@shopjacksonsquare.com with the following:

  • Order Number (found in your confirmation email).
  • Reason for the return.
  • Phone Number.
  • Photos: If the item arrived damaged, include clear photos of the item and the packaging.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products) and vintage jewelry or clothing. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exceptions & Final Sale Items

Local Pickup & Seller-Managed Delivery: All sales are final once you or your agent takes possession of the item. To receive a refund, you must refuse the item at the time of pickup. Do not take the item home. Notify support immediately if you refuse an item.

Made-to-Order Items: All sales are final for made-to-order pieces and any items marked "non-refundable" in the product description.

Shipping & Return Costs

Buyer Responsibility: On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of outbound shipping, return shipping, and packing charges. These will be deducted from your refund.

Parcel Timeline: Items must be shipped within three business days of receiving your return label.

Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund, or charge your original payment method, for any damage occurring while in the buyer’s possession.

International Orders: Buyers are responsible for all customs duties and taxes (if applicable, on cross-border orders).   

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What happens if I return an item in a different condition? Items must be returned in their original condition. Jackson Square Collective reserves the right to deduct from the refund or charge your original method of payment for any damage occurring while in the buyer’s possession.

Who pays for return shipping? On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of outbound shipping, return shipping, and any packing charges. These costs will be deducted from your final refund.

Can I return an item I picked up locally? No. For Local Pickup or Seller-Managed Delivery, all sales are final once you (or your agent/shipper) take possession of the item. The 48-hour policy does not apply here. 

  • You must inspect and refuse the item at the time of pickup if you are unsatisfied. Do not take the item home.

Are there any "Final Sale" items? Yes. All sales are final for Made-to-Order items, and any items specifically marked as "non-refundable" in the product description.

What about international orders? Cross-border returns may have different requirements. The buyer is responsible for all applicable customs duties and taxes (if applicable, on cross-border orders). Â
