About Jackson Square Collective
What is Jackson Square Collective?
Jackson Square Collective is a curated vintage marketplace opening soon at 800 E 31st St in La Grange Park, IL, just outside Chicago. Our space will bring together a rotating group of independent vintage dealers, each offering a thoughtfully selected assortment of vintage clothing, décor, jewelry, and collectibles under one roof. In the meantime, you can shop our dealers' inventory online now at shopjacksonsquare.com.
Is Jackson Square Collective open yet?

Is Jackson Square Collective a thrift store?
No. We're a curated vintage retail experience, not a thrift store — every piece we offer is selected and presented by an independent dealer, not sorted from mass donations. If you're searching for a vintage boutique or vintage marketplace in the western suburbs of Chicago rather than a traditional thrift shop, that's exactly what we offer.
What kind of vintage items do you carry?
Our dealers offer a wide range of vintage finds, including vintage clothing and accessories, mid-century and antique home décor, vintage jewelry, art, glassware, furniture, and collectibles. Since each dealer curates their own selection, our overall inventory changes often, so there's always something new to discover.
Where is Jackson Square Collective located?
Jackson Square Collective's physical location is at 800 E 31st St, La Grange Park, IL, in the western suburbs of Chicago — convenient to La Grange, Brookfield, Western Springs, and the surrounding communities. Our storefront is opening soon; shop our inventory online in the meantime at shopjacksonsquare.com.
What are your store hours?
We haven't opened our physical location yet. Once we do, hours will be posted on our website and social media — follow along or check back for updates.
Is parking available at Jackson Square Collective?

Is there a vintage store near La Grange Park or the western suburbs of Chicago?
Jackson Square Collective is opening soon as a curated vintage store serving La Grange Park and the surrounding western Chicago suburbs, including La Grange, Brookfield, Western Springs, Riverside, and Hinsdale. You can shop our vintage dealers' inventory online right now at shopjacksonsquare.com while we prepare to open our doors.
The Vintage Shopping Experience
What does "vintage" mean at Jackson Square Collective?
We generally use "vintage" to describe pieces that are at least 20 years old, though many of our dealers offer well-preserved antiques and retro finds that go back much further, including mid-century, Art Deco, and Victorian-era pieces. Each dealer notes the era and condition of their pieces where possible.
How do you ensure the quality of items in the collective?
Every dealer is responsible for the condition and accuracy of the items they place in their space, and our team reviews new dealer applications to make sure they align with the curated experience we offer shoppers.
Will I be able to try on clothing before purchasing?
Yes — once our physical location opens, fitting rooms will be available in-store so you can try items on before you buy. In the meantime, our online listings include detailed measurements and condition notes to help you shop with confidence.
Will you offer layaway?
Layaway or hold options will be available once our physical location opens; policies may vary by dealer. We'll share details as our opening approaches.
Are prices negotiable?
Pricing is set by individual dealers to reflect the item's condition, era, and rarity. If you have a question about a specific piece, feel free to contact us.
What payment methods will you accept in-store?
Once open, we'll accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and contactless payment methods at checkout. Online, we accept standard checkout payment methods through shopjacksonsquare.com.
Shopping Online
Can I shop Jackson Square Collective online?
Yes. A selection of our dealers' inventory is available for purchase directly through our website.
How often is new inventory added to the website?
New pieces are added regularly as our dealers list additional inventory. We recommend checking back often, since vintage pieces are one-of-a-kind and don't get restocked once sold.
Is the quality of items online the same as what will be in the store?
Yes. Online listings go through the same dealer curation standards that will apply in-store, and each listing includes photos and details of the item's condition.
Can I reserve an online item for in-store pickup?
Local pickup will become available once our physical location opens. For now, all online orders ship to you directly — see our shipping options below.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship items purchased online?
Yes, we ship most items purchased through our website. Larger furniture pieces may have separate delivery or freight arrangements — details are noted on the product listing.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We primarily ship via USPS and UPS, depending on the size and weight of your item.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days of purchase, with delivery times varying by carrier and destination. Because our items are one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, we take extra care in packing, which can occasionally affect processing time.
Do you offer local delivery?
Local delivery for larger items may become available once our physical location opens. Please contact us to ask about current options for a specific piece.
Will you offer local pickup?
Local pickup will be available at our La Grange Park location once it opens. Until then, all online orders ship directly to you.
Can I ship a gift directly to someone else?
Yes — just enter the recipient's shipping address at checkout. Note that gift receipts or messages may not be available for all orders; contact us if you have a special request.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and our team will work with you on next steps.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Because our inventory consists of one-of-a-kind vintage pieces sold on behalf of independent dealers, most sales are final. Please review listing photos and descriptions carefully before purchasing. If there's a significant discrepancy between the listing and the item received, contact us and we'll help make it right.
Will I be able to return an item purchased in-store?
Once our physical location opens, in-store return policies will be posted at checkout and may vary by dealer. For now, all purchases go through our online store — see our return policy above.
Becoming a Dealer
How do I become a vintage dealer / sell vintage items at Jackson Square Collective?
We're currently accepting applications from vintage sellers interested in renting space in our collective once we open, whether you're looking to sell vintage clothing, furniture, décor, or collectibles. Our online dealer program is already active if you'd like to start selling now. Visit our website or contact us directly to apply.
What's the difference between an in-store dealer and an online dealer?
In-store dealers will rent a physical booth or space within Jackson Square Collective once our La Grange Park location opens, to display and sell their curated pieces to shoppers who visit in person. Online dealers list inventory for sale through our website now, with fulfillment and shipping coordinated through our team. Some dealers choose to do both.
Do you accept consignment?
We do not accept consignment. Instead, we welcome applications from vintage dealers who would like to rent space in our collective, in-store and/or online.
How long does the dealer application review take?
Applications are typically reviewed within three weeks. We'll follow up with next steps once your application has been reviewed.
Selling as an Online Dealer
How do I become an online dealer / sell vintage items online?
Start by submitting a dealer application through our website or by contacting our team directly. Once approved, we'll walk you through how to list your vintage inventory for sale online at shopjacksonsquare.com.
Can I sell vintage clothing online without a physical storefront?
Yes. Our online dealer program is built for exactly that — you don't need a physical booth in the collective to sell through shopjacksonsquare.com. You handle sourcing and photographing your vintage pieces; we handle the storefront, customer service, and payment processing.
What is the commission structure for dealers?
Jackson Square Collective retains a 15% commission on sales, whether the item sells in-store or through our website. This rate is consistent across both channels.
How and when do online dealers get paid?
Online dealers are paid out weekly via PayPal for the prior week's completed online sales, less our 15% commission.
Do I need a PayPal account to sell online?
Yes, a PayPal account is required for online dealers so we can process your weekly payouts.
What are the requirements for listing items as an online dealer?
Each listing should include clear, well-lit photos, an accurate description of the item's condition and era, and pricing that reflects our curated positioning. Our team can share our full listing guidelines once you're approved as a dealer.
How do I take good photos for my online listings?
A few tips our online dealers find helpful:
- Use natural, indirect light near a window and avoid harsh direct sun or flash.
- Shoot against a clean, uncluttered background so the item stays the focus.
- Include multiple angles, including full front and back views, close-ups of details, tags, or maker's marks, and honest shots of any wear, stains, or repairs.
- Style clothing on a hanger, mannequin, or model when possible, in addition to a flat lay.
- Keep colors true to life and avoid heavy filters or edits that shift the item's actual color or texture.
- Photograph at consistent angles across your listings for a cohesive, professional look.
Can I be both an in-store and online dealer?
Yes — once our physical location opens, dealers will be able to maintain a booth in the collective while also listing select inventory online. For now, our online dealer program is open, and interested dealers can also apply for in-store space ahead of opening.
Who handles customer service for items sold online?
Our Jackson Square Collective team manages all customer-facing communication for online orders, including inquiries, shipping questions, and any issues after delivery. Dealers coordinate directly with our team, not with customers.
